Executive Travel Curation:
Frequently Asked Questions.

Direct, authoritative answers on privacy protocols, travel asset management, and the objective fee structure behind PTO Travel Agency.

i.

How does PTO Travel Agency protect executive privacy and peace of mind?

For high-net-worth individuals and corporate executives, PTO Travel Agency implements strict privacy cloaking protocols. Our office acts as an operational shield, handling all luxury resort, villa, and private transit negotiations under non-disclosure perimeters. We enforce a zero-friction communications model, meaning we do not contact our clients during transit unless an immediate executive decision is required.

ii.

What is included in high-net-worth travel asset management?

Our white-glove portfolio management tier features comprehensive complete travel asset management for a one-time $1,600 fee. This service covers complex multi-destination planning, international logistics optimization, and group coordination for eight or more travelers. By applying industrial-grade precision to leisure time, we ensure that no executive hours are wasted on travel administration or logistical overlaps.

iii.

Why does a luxury travel boutique charge flat upfront planning fees?

Traditional booking services rely heavily on supplier commissions, which often leads to biased recommendations. PTO Travel Agency utilizes an upfront fee structure — $400 for The Essentials, $600 for The Signature, and $1,600 for The Opulence — to remain completely objective. This structure guarantees that every hotel comparison, flight routing, and activity booking is curated solely on quality, exclusivity, and how the client actually wants the trip to feel.

iv.

How old must the primary booker be to open a PTO profile?

The primary profile holder must be 25 years of age or older at the time of booking. This threshold aligns with the insurance frameworks and private estate check-in mandates our supplier network operates under. Traveling companions and family members of any age are fully accommodated under the primary booker's authorized umbrella — the requirement applies only to the person opening the profile. Each adult traveler signs an individual liability waiver.

v.

Is the planning fee refundable, and what exactly does it buy?

Planning fees are 100% non-refundable once paid — they compensate our office for destination research, supplier negotiation, and itinerary construction that is performed immediately and cannot be recovered. They are, however, credited in full toward your resulting booking, which makes the fee a deposit on your trip rather than an added charge. The fee is entirely separate from the cost of flights, villas, resorts, and transfers, which are paid to suppliers.

vi.

How is this different from booking through an online travel site?

An online travel agency executes what you already decided. It cannot tell you the resort's construction noise starts at 7am, that the transfer is ninety minutes rather than the advertised thirty, or that the room category you selected faces the service road. PTO is not a booking platform — every destination we recommend has been visited in person by our founder, and we build the trip around how you travel and how you rest. When something moves mid-trip, you reach a named human rather than a queue.

vii.

What is the timeline from first inquiry to a finished itinerary?

You receive a response to your intake within 24 business hours. Once your planning fee is received, your curated portfolio — hotel comparisons, an itinerary draft, and tailored recommendations — is delivered within 48 business hours. For peak season, Disney, international, and group travel we recommend opening a profile at least six to eight weeks before departure, though shorter runways are frequently accommodated.

viii.

What happens if something fails while I am travelling?

In-trip support is included from The Signature tier upward, which means a cancelled flight, an unacceptable room, or a closed venue is our problem to solve rather than yours. We advocate directly with the supplier on your behalf. We also strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance on every booking — covering trip cancellation, medical care, and evacuation — because supplier goodwill is not a substitute for coverage. Declining insurance is done at your own risk.

ix.

Which tier is right if I don't yet know where I want to go?

Not knowing the destination is a common starting point and is never a problem — it is arguably the ideal one, because nothing has been prematurely narrowed. Tell us the budget, the shape of the time you have, and how you need to feel when you return. The Essentials suits a single focused escape. The Signature is the most requested tier and suits multi-city or milestone travel needing day-by-day precision. The Opulence is for those who would rather never think about travel logistics again.
